Brette L. Evans has been a practicing attorney since 1995. Ms. Evans received her undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of California Santa Cruz. Ms. Evans went on to obtain her law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. During law school Ms. Evans clerked for the Honorable James Lamden, where she gained valuable in chambers/court experience. Since obtaining her law degree, she has practiced bankruptcy law, family law, intellectual property, and civil litigation. Although she has practiced in multiple areas of the law, Brette’s main focus is bankruptcy and family law where she works tirelessly to include night and weekends to ensure that she has left no stone unturned. Brette works directly with clients, experts, families and businesses to navigate legal hurdles, advocate forcefully through trying times and adversity. She seeks to create leverage and strategically plans courses of legal action seeking to achieve the most positive outcomes for her clients.
Brette started her early adult pursuits by becoming a private pilot and navigating the skies of Northern California in her twenties. She adds to her list of achievements skydiving with a long list of friends until she ran out of people to jump with, and starting her own business when she was sixteen years old. Brette has always pushed the limits of things she pursues, to include the best case outcomes for her clients. She is not one to strike down the well worn and easy path, as many of her contemporaries would prefer to do, rather she seeks to push the limits of the law for the best possible outcomes, even if it means working harder and not earning more. The goal and the outcome are what matters most to Brette. As an attorney with over 25 years of ongoing, uninterrupted legal experience in her practice areas, she is still seeking the best outcomes, with the client’s goals as her primary guide. The opposite of a shrinking vine, Brette thrives on difficult cases and will push the legal boundaries for sought after outcomes.
