Our Attorneys


Brette L. Evans has been a practicing attorney since 1995. Ms. Evans received her undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of California Santa Cruz. Ms.      Evans went on to obtain her law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. During law school Ms. Evans clerked for the Honorable James Lamden, where she gained valuable in chambers/court experience. Since obtaining her law degree, she has practiced bankruptcy law, family law, intellectual property, and  civil litigation. Although she has practiced in multiple areas of the law, Brette’s main focus has been in the field of bankruptcy law where she is able to work directly with        individuals and businesses to effect a positive change in their lives. Anthony (“Tony”) PassarrettiSpecial Counsel, a former math teacher, has been practicing bankruptcy law in San Jose since 1982. Tony’s legal skills   are matched by his kindness and caring for the client. Tony is a consumate professional with a keen knowledge of bankruptcy law. He has been practicing   bankruptcy law for so many years in the bay area, that he knows court staff, creditors attorneys and the bankruptcy bar all on a first name basis. David Tafaoimalo is a senior bankruptcy paralegal. David has worked for Evans Law Offices since 2001. David has in-depth knowledge of bankruptcy law through his practice with Ms. Evans. His current position with Evans Law Offices finds him working at a senior paralegal level, assisting Ms. Evans in all areas of the bankruptcy practice. David’s knowledge and skills match those of practicing attorneys due to his advanced level of practice with Evans Law Offices. David is a smart, fun, and integral part of the Evans Law Offices staff.
